Well my goodness! It has been so long since I blogged last! Life has been insane, me in school, summer activities, Baseball, birthdays, My wonderful, sweet Grandma Davis passed away, vacations, camp outs, oh and did I mention me in school!!!
I put only my favorite pictures on here this time, it was hard to choose, but instead of making you watch a long slide show I decided to do it a little different this time!
Kaden was on the Dodger's team this season and he did such a wonderful job! He didn't have to do Tee Ball again so we were all excited about that! He was the "real" deal this time! The whole uniform, the dug-outs, and the highlight of his season... being able to slide! (into every base!) But it was fun!
Bailee had a wonderful "Ariel" birthday! We went to Build a Bear, then had all the cousins over for a super fun birthday! I was so excited, I gave her my vanity that my wonderful dad MADE for me when I was her age! I re-painted it, and while I was doing that, I took off the mirror and to my surprise, my dad had written a message to me in 1988 when he made it! I love it, and yep it made me tear up! It was a surprise to see that he made it for me when I was 4 and I was doing this for her on her 4th birthday! Anyway, I thought it was wonderful! Well she had a great day, and it was nice to spend the day with family!
We also went camping with Drew's family. It was really fun! We spent a lot of time fishing and playing games! It was nice to be with family! But I do have to say that after camping for 5 nights, I was ready to get out of the sun and away from the bugs!... and the dirt! But it was fun!
We also took a trip to Idaho with Drew's mom and sister. I was really fun to get away and relax for the weekend! Karen asked us to take her up there for her aunt's 80th birthday! So it was nice to go see and meet all of the family that was there!
Then my sweet Grandma Davis passed away this month. She needed to go be with our Heavenly Father, it was time, but we/I will miss her! She was such a wonderful person and I am so thankful to have had her in my life and to have had her wonderful example! I can't wait to join her one day, and I am so thankful to know that Families Are Forever!
Well I am still in school! It is so hard to leave my kids everyday! I have so much respect for working moms who do it all the time! I have about 8 months left, so its not too bad. But it sure does take a lot out of me! School every day, still cleaning, taking care of kids and hubby! Man its a busy life these days!
Well I have no idea when I will post again. But thank you to everyone for all of your support, help and love! There are so many people in my life that I am thankful for and that I appreciate so much! love you all!

What we have been up to...

Well it has been a very busy last couple of months. We did a little make-over in our family room! It was a LOT of work, but it was fun! We bought the white thing at DI for 10 dollars and bought some paint and trim, After about 4 or 5 days, we finished our new tv stand, and our new side table! I think they turned out pretty good. The cute little dresses I made for a lady at Drew's work who just had a baby! They turned out pretty cute! I think I made about 8 of those dresses last month! Needless to say, Bailee has a lot of new dresses! :) What else?... Oh I started school 3 weeks ago! Yep, I am going back to Cosmetology. I go to MATC in Lehi. It is quite fun, I miss my family so that is hard, but I like getting out and "using my brain" for something useful! I have taken 3 tests and past all of them, so that is good! I was worried I had lost all of my "memory" but turns out, I can still learn and study! ...very good to know!... Kaden has started Baseball again! He is so excited! He is on the Dodgers! It is going to be nice to go and actually watch a real game because now he plays machine pitch!!! Yeah no more Tee ball!!! Needless to say, it is all we hear about now! Bailee is turning into a 16 year old! My word that child is a drama queen! I love her to death, but man, she either loves you are is not your friend! No, she is very fun! Wouldn't change her for the world! Drew, he is still as busy as ever working away at work. I feel like I never see him anymore! Between my school schedule and his work, we see each other for about 2 or 3 hours a day before its time to go to sleep and start again! Well that is what has been going on the the Evans' house lately! Hope you are all doing good!

My Valentines!!!!

Well I know this is a little after the fact, but I wanted to write about my day with my 3 Valentines! I was planning on making a yummy valentine breakfast this morning, but do to some un-wanted visitors early this morning, I slept in! For lunch I made the kids yummy heart sandwiches! They were so excited! Bailee even asked, "Can we eat them?" lol Then we played games for quite a while as a family! It was so nice not to have the TV on and have it be just a family night! They had so much fun! So did I actually! Then we had a yummy dinner; heart shaped bread sticks, a new recipe called Italian Spinach Pie! veggies, and our drink was sprite with heart shaped kool-aid ice cubes! they turned the sprite pink, and the kids loved that! After our yummy dinner, we played another game (Guess Who!) Then we had a yummy dessert! I made red jello with raspberries in it, then a layer of banana pudding, then pink cool whip, topped with sprinkles! The kids and especially Drew loved it! We also gave the kids the home made valentines I made them! they loved them! Over all it was a wonderful day! I am so thankful that I not only have the love of my life to be my valentine, but for the other 2 sweet little Valentine's I have too! They all mean the world to me and I am so thankful that I have them! They are my joy and my light!
...Here are the pictures... Also there are some of the crafts I have done this month! It has been a busy month all ready! We have had quite a few craft nights and they have been so fun! Spending time with girls, especially my mom and my sister and sister in law has been so much fun! Bailee in the dress is the pillow case dress I made with Kristiena and my mom! It turned out so cute and Bailee loves it!
I hope you had a wonderful Valentines Day! Just remember that even if you don't have a significant other to spend this day with, there are plenty of people to love and people that love you!

All Grown Up!

He is all grown up! Well, ok, not quite! (Thank goodness!) Today my baby turned 6! I can not believe it! It was 6 years ago today that I went to the hospital nervous as can be, but so ready to bring a new little one into our family! At 11:42 pm he was born! It was a wonderful (quite easy) delivery, and soooo worth it! I might have hard days with him sometimes, but he is worth every one of those hard days! He is such a sweetheart, and is so caring! He loves to snuggle and is always keeping others in mind! Now don't get me wrong, he can be a little turkey, but over all, he is a great kid! I can not believe how fast time has flown by! He has all ready been in school for 5 months and he has grown and learned so much all ready! I remember when he was 8 months old, learning how to walk! I guess he always has done things quite quickly!
Kaden bud, I love you sooooo much and I am so thankful you are in my life! I am so thankful that our Heavenly Father has trusted me to bring YOU, His child, into this life and raise you and teach you the best way that I can! I can only hope and pray that I do a good job! Just know I love you so much and am so thankful you are in my life! You bring me so much joy, love and happiness, and I am so grateful to be your mommy! I love you!

Looong Day, but very greatful!

So it has been a very long day! If you have read my sister's blog you might know a little about it! But if you have not read it, let me let you in on a little bit of my day! So it started off good, got Kaden to school on time and everything! Then I decided to come up to my parent's house and help my sister out with her new blogging adventure! Well in trying to do that, we had some major Internet issues! and yep, it was all my fault!!! I totally screwed up all the computers in their house like bad! Anyway, well we fixed them (a little) with the help of the Qwest man on the phone, but unfortunately they were not fixed "all the way", but... thank goodness for my wonderful computer genius brother! He came and fixed them all for us, and even did the other maintenance things that they all needed! Thank you brother! I love you! Well before all this happened, I was going to blog about something nice! lol so now that I got a chance to vent a little, I will write about that!
So I was driving this morning and I passed a street sign with a woman's name on it! I remembered how I once used to sit and talk to this woman at baseball games, and how I would run in to her from time to time and she was always such a kind person! I knew she was going through some very hard things in her life, but she never let on about it! She was always so positive, and was such a sweetheart! She was a wonderful person and will forever be missed! :) Well in thinking about her and about all that she went through it made me realize that my life is not that bad! I sometimes feel like my live is not so wonderful, but thinking about her I realized that its really not that bad! Yes I have health problems that make me gain weight, or make it hard to have children, and a few other things, but really... it could be a lot worse!!! I don't have cancer, I don't have something that is very life threatening! I need to be grateful that I do have the 2 beautiful children I have, and that I am able to play with them and have fun! I am just very thankful for my blessings from my Heavenly Father and I know that even if things don't go the way that I thought they were going to, I still am a Child of God, and He hears my prayers, and He knows what I am going through! I am just very thankful... thats all!

New Year!

Well here is a new post for a new year! I had a wonderful year! I am so thankful for the many many many blessings I received last year! Not everything went the way I wanted it to, but I know that things will work out the way they are supposed to! I am so thankful for good health. My hubby as you all know went through quite a challenge with his leg, and I am so thankful that it ended up being a lot better then we were first told! I am thankful my kids had good health over all for the year! I am so thankful for family! I am thankful for the part that each person in my family plays in my life and for the love and example they give/are to me! I am so thankful for the job that my hubby has, and even though it is not his favorite place to be all the time, he keeps going, and works hard to support us! I am thankful for my wonderful, beautiful, crazy, happy (sometimes) kids! They are truly a gift from Heavenly Father and I am so thankful for them and the sweet spirits they have and the joy they bring into my life! I really have been blessed and am so thankful for all that I have! I know I have said this a lot lately, but I am so thankful for the Gospel in my life and for the knowledge I have of the plan of our Heavenly Father! I am so thankful for His Son, and for His willingness to go through what he went through for me!
On that note, we had a wonderful Holiday Season! We had a great Christmas and had so much fun with all of our family members! (I am sorry Erik and Kayloni, I didn't get a picture of you because you were right by me on the couch!) Speaking of them, on the 30th they welcomed their new little one! He is such a beautiful baby boy! I have a picture of them at the Hospital, but I didn't want to put one of him with out their "ok". But just know that he really is a handsome little boy! Then we had a fun New Years Eve at my parents house! We played games, and just hung out! It was great! Again, a perfect Holiday Season to finish out the year!
I am making some goals for the year and can't wait to accomplish them! But I will let you in on all of that next time I post! For now this is enough, I am sure this was a complete "Over-Load" of Annie, (sorry) But until then, Have a wonderful New Year! Love you all, and thanks for a wonderful 2010!

My Grandma!!!

So I obviously can't stop thinking about my Grandma, and decided I would write a few memories that I have of her!
I remember going to her house and it always smelt so good! Whether it was food she was cooking(and for some reason I remember it smelling like baking bread or onions simmering!) or the smell of her perfume, or just "the smell of her house"! It always smelt good to me!
I remember going with her and Grandpa and my family to the BYU Museum all the time! I have so many memories of going there with them! It was such a treat to be able to go there, then afterwords we would usually go and get ice cream at the BYU Creamery!
I remember her letting us dress up in her clothes and her jewelry! We would play with the dolls and toys. She always made us feel so beautiful! She would even take our pictures!
I remember this one time having a nice family dinner with them and my family, we were all at the table and she was telling us about how she was taught to swallow her drink so carefully as to make it look like she was not swallowing at all! I remembered we tried and tried, but could not do it like her!
I remember (this is kind of a funny one!) there was this one time when my brother Erik and I were just like 8 and 6 and we were in her front room where the blessing were sometimes given, and he pretended to give me a blessing! I remember the "scary" look on her face when she told us that she never wanted to see that again, and how scared I was of her for a little while! lol
I remember always having sleepovers with my sister and the other cousin girls our age! We would have so much fun! She would let us stay up and watch movies (The ones I remember most are The Parent Trap, My Fair Lady, and Trouble with Angels!) Then after the movie we would all get to get in her bed and have ice cream cones! This was such a wonderful tradition!
I remember going down to Fountain Green one time for a sleep over and they let us play in the rain! It was so much fun!
Well I could go on and on and on, but I want to just end with my memory of her Testimony! I know she had a very strong testimony of the church and I am so thankful that she expressed that to me on many different occasions! She was such a kind and giving person and I am so thankful that she is MY Grandma!

Grandma Lucy

Well it is going to be hard to write this but I just want to say a little something really quick! I just found out that my Grandma Yorgason past away today. She fell a couple days ago and had major bleeding in her brain and never re-gained conciseness. Her body just took a while to shut down. Anyway, I don't want to focus on that, I just want to say how much I love her! and that I am so thankful for the wonderful example she has always been in my life. She was such an amazing person and I am truly blessed to have had her in my life! We love you so much Grandma Lucy and we know you will be having a wonderful Christmas! Even though we will miss you, we are so glad you are not in pain anymore and you are with Grandpa now! Love you!

Also on a little side note, we went and did family pictures today with the help of Krystal! I am not quite in the mood to put them on here yet, but I all ready did on Face Book so if you want to see them, look on there for now! I am so happy with the way they turned out!

Oh my goodness! I finally did a new post! It has been so long! I do have to say that I have tried to do it many times, but my silly computer would not let me log in to my blog. But it did this time, and even though it is now 12:30 in the morning, I am finishing it because I don't want to lose it, or not be able to do it later!
Well like I said, a lot has happened! (As you can tell by ALL the pictures!) I took Drew to Park City for his birthday! It was a total spur of the moment idea I got and we went for it! We stayed at the Canyons Resort! It was so nice, I got a really good deal and was expecting an "OK" room and it ended up being so beautiful! It was probably the nicest place we have stayed! I wish we could have stayed longer, but that is what happens when Drew has work and it was a spur of the moment thing! But it was so worth it and we had so much fun. We went to dinner, did a little Christmas shopping and just had a nice QUIET weekend! Thank you so much Krystal for watching the kids on such short notice!
Then we decided to go bowling for Drew's actual birthday- day! We called the family and it was so wonderful that the whole family was able to make it... Again, on such short notice! But it was so fun to be with family and celebrate the love of my life! I love you Drew! Thank you for all you do for me and for our little family! You are truly the best and I am so lucky to have you in my life!
Then we had our family Thanksgiving the Sunday before Thanksgiving. It was nice to get together and see each other again! I had fun with the kids, we played Thanksgiving Bingo, colored pictures of Turkeys, and made little turkey out of apples and candy! I think the kids really liked it and I know the adults loved having them "sit " and doing something "quiet"! But it was a great night!
Then we had Thanksgiving with Drew's family. It was really nice! It was great to visit with his family and spend time together!
Well I know this is pretty much a novel, so bare with me a little longer! But I just want to say that I am so thankful for everything that I have! I am so thankful first of all for the Gospel in my life and for the knowledge that I have of our Heavenly Father's plan! I am so thankful for my family, for my wonderful hubby, and my 2 beautiful children! They are my everything! I know it is hard for me to see sometimes, but I know that I am blessed to have them and I would not trade them for anything! I am thankful for the rest of my family also. I am thankful for a mom and dad who raised me the way they did and for their unconditional love and support through everything! They are truly the best! I am so thankful for the best sister anyone could ask for! She is there for me literally 24/7 and I am so thankful for that! I am thankful for my wonderful brothers and all they do for me! They are so fun and I love to be with them and their wonderful wives! (and their kids!) I am thankful to have a roof over my head and food on my table in these "hard times". I really am blessed with so many things, and I want you all to know I love you so much and I hope you have a wonderful Holiday season!
I almost feel like I need to end it with "in the name of..." ya know what I mean! lol

Well, it has been a wonderful month so far! As many of you know, Drew has been off work for quite a while now (6 weeks!) but he goes back this Wednesday. It will be a little bitter sweet. I am excited to get my house in order again, but I am going to miss him! It has been really nice to spend this much time with him. I am just glad that his leg is finally getting better! It will take a while for it to fully be back to normal, but its getting there! He is in Physical Therapy for a few weeks, so that will help!
We went to Kaden's first SEP at school! His teacher says he is doing great! He has lots of friends, and is learning more and more every day! She said he is one of the few who can write all of his numbers the right way, so that was cool! That silly boy has also lost 3 teeth in one week! and he still has 2 that are loose! He is getting bigger and bigger every day and I love to watch him grow! Bailee is doing the same thing! She is still going strong with her "accent!" We always joke that she is from Baltimore or something because of the way she says her Rs! It was so cute the other day we cleaned the back patio and she came out and said, "ohhhhhhhhh, this looks Berry Amaaaaaaazing mommy!" I love it! She loves to dance and sing! She also LOVES to color! That little girl is just like her mom! She can sit and color for hours! (no really, hours!) She colors quite well for her age. Many people can't believe how good she does! Anyway they are both just so wonderful and I am so thankful to have them as my children!
I am doing great! I started the HCG diet about 11 days ago and I have lost 7 pounds! I actually got up to 9 pounds, but we went fishing the other night, and had a campfire with hot dogs and all that yummy stuff, and I ended gaining 2 pounds back! But I have lost 8 inches total! (As of a week ago, so I need to measure again) But I am so excited! It was so hard to lose weight before because I have PCOS, but with this diet I feel like I am in control of my body and I actually believe in myself! I can't wait to see where I am at at the end of it all! So wish me luck!
Well things are going great! I am excited for Halloween, like always and can't wait to take my little ones Trick or Treating!

What a Month So Far!

Well needless to say it has been a crazy month, and we are not even half way through it!
Kaden started Kindergarten on the 1st! He is loving it. He has so much fun, and has made so many new friends. He loves his teacher too. He went on and on when he got home the 1st day about how much he liked it, and how much fun he had. When he got done telling me I asked him if he wanted to go back tomorrow and he said, "Sure" lol. He was so excited, the 3rd day when he came home he said, "I got to GLUE mom!" So cute! We are all excited for this new new journey in our lives!
Then we had some fun with Drew in the last week and a half! Drew has been playing softball this fall and has been having so much fun! Well a week ago Thursday, he went to get a ball and when he turned to run he said it felt like someone kicked him in the calf of his right leg. But he still played 2 more innings, and it was not until he was up to bat, and was running to 1st that I even knew he was hurt! He started to hop on his left leg.(He even made it to 1st, and didn't get out!) Well we were not sure what was wrong, but he was smart and sat out the 2nd game! We went home that night, and decided to go to the ER. There they told us that he tore his Achilles Tendon. So we made an appointment with the Specialist for this last Wednesday. It was funny though because the hospital was calling us to register him for his surgery, and we told them we had not even seen the specialist yet, but they said that he had set it up, because that's the way they do it now! Anyway, so the surgery was all set up, and we headed to the specialist! He came in and was feeling Drew's leg and asking him questions and said, "Well it's not the Achilles Tendon, you tore you calf muscle, so there wont be any surgery tomorrow!" What a blessing! I know that our prayers were answered! So to make a long story (shorter...) he is now in a "boot" and is out of work for 4 weeks, rather than the almost 6 MONTHS it was going to be, if it would have been the tendon! I know that because of the many, many prayers, and through the power of the Priesthood my hubby had a wonderful miracle performed on his leg! In the ER, they did a little test on his leg to see if it was the tendon where they squeeze the back of his leg, and if the foot moves, its fine, but if not, the tendon is torn. Well his foot did not move at all in the ER! Then the specialist did the same thing and his foot moved just fine! AMAZINGGGGG! I am so thankful to my Heavenly Father for this wonderful blessing in our lives!
Then on top of all this, I am now working again doing the heater display for 2 Costco stores not just the 1. So that has kept me very busy also. I am just busy taking care of my (now 3) children, but I am thankful to have things to do! It is hard to have to wait on Drew all the time, but it is so good for me! I need to work on my patience! But now that he is always home, he gets to see what a wonderful JOY the kids are to be with 24/7!

New Blog!

So I started a new blog yesterday about myself and finding the joy in my life. I am ready for a change to make my life even better and I decided that I wanted to blog about it. Not just for people to read, but for me to "write it all down"and recognize my blessings! Also I am trying to be more healthy. I am not going to be worried about losing weight anymore, I just want to be healthy. So for me to see what I eat every day and take note of all that, I am making little side notes of that too!
Can I also say that I think it is quite funny that my sister in law and I are kind of doing this at the same time! I got on this blog after I wrote my first day on the other blog, and read her blog. And I just had to laugh, because we pretty much wrote our first posts on the same day! Anyway, great minds think alike! Well if you wanna check it out, its annieschange.blogspot.com

Days of 47 Rodeo!

So we went to the Days of 47 Rodeo! We had so much fun! We went with Grandma Karen, Aunt Jodi and Rena! The kids loved it! Kaden could not wait for the Cowboys to ride the bulls. It was funny, we were explaining why the bulls and the horses were bucking so bad (because of the rope wrapped around them) and he said, "Well I would be mad too if I had that wrapped around my peepee!" It was so funny!
Bailee just loved seeing all the animals! Her favorite part was the cowgirls barrel racing! She even got to be on the BIG screen! It was cute, she just sat and watched herself and waved with a big smile on her face!
Then we were sitting there and all of a sudden people started cheering and clapping. Well we look over, and there was President Monson! It was really fun! They announced he was there and he got up and waved his hands around in the air! After about 15 minutes he put his own cowboy hat on! It was so cute! Then during "half time" we walked over and tried to get his picture, but for church security reasons they would not let us! But he did wave right at/to me! Man I was like a little kid! I was so excited! anyway, we just thought it was cool that he happened to be there the same night as us!
Over all we ad such a great time! I just love being with my family!

What a fun summer so far! The kids have been able to swim, play on their bikes, and just have so much fun outside! We had a really fun 4th of July, the kids swam, we had a great BBQ (thanks mom and dad!) and then we had a really fun game of family kick-ball!! It was so fun, girls against boys! and YES! the girls totally won! Then we had Fireworks! What a great night!

We had our Davis Family BBQ it was a lot of fun to catch up with relatives. Uncle Erik was so nice and went swimming with Kaden and Bailee! They had so much fun. Kaden even got to go off of the diving board! They just love uncle Erik! Kaden says, "I love Erik cause he teases me and plays with me!" What a fun day! We love our family! Happy Father's Day Grandpa and Happy Birthday Grandma! We love you!

We had Bailee's birthday last week it was so much fun to have our family over! Bailee chose a Winnie The Pooh birthday. She kept saying all day long "Happy Birthday? Me?!" It was really cute. She got many fun things; clothes, a bike, a "magic" cup (with the water/glitter in it), fairy wings and a wand, yummy sucker! And that's not all! She was very spoiled! So thank you everyone that came it was so much fun! I love spending time with my family. You never realize how much you love your family until you don't live together anymore. You don't realize how much you love your parents and that you look up to them in so many ways until you move out and have kids of your own. So thanks mom and dad! I love you so much!

Well I have somewhat figured this thing out and wanted to let people know what is going on with our family.
Drew is working at Westmore Elem. where he is the Head Custodian there. He is always very busy and likes it most of the time! He is going to be playing softball in about a week with some of my brothers and is very excited about that!
I am still a stay at home mom and love it! (well, most of the time!)I love scrap booking when I get a chance and just love to be with my family.
Kaden Drew just turned 4 in Jan. and is getting so big. He is very into sports and hunting. We joke that he is a one man team, he plays all the positions by himself and is very good. He is a very good helper and we love him so much.
Bailee Kristine will be 2 on April 22nd and is so adorable. She loves to sing, her fav. song is "Happy Birthday" She sings it everywhere to everyone! If she is holding something she will tell you to "blow" when she is done singing, so you can blow out the candles. She is really getting into the "wonderful twos!" but is still so much fun, we love her so much!
Well, things are pretty much the same around here. Hope everyone has a Happy Easter.
